DIRECTV to Continue to Provide NFL Sunday Ticket to Bars, Restaurants, Hotels, and Other Businesses

DIRECTV has partnered with EverPass Media to bring NFL Sunday Ticket to Commercial and Hospitality customers.

In the press release linked below, DIRECTV announced that your Bar, Restaurant, Hotel or other business can continue to provide NFL Sunday Ticket for our customers through DIRECTV.

The new multiyear deal, which begins with the 2023 football season, was announced by the satellite company and EverPass Media, the NFL’s new media platform for handling the distribution of “live sports and entertainment content” exclusively to businesses.

NFL Sunday Ticket and DIRECTV For Business

DIRECTV will be offering NFL Sunday Ticket for commercial use only and not for consumers who subscribe to satellite TV service or the internet-based DIRECTV Stream. That means 300,000 locations that include bars, restaurants, casinos, hotel lounges and shops will continue to be able to get NFL Sunday Ticket through DIRECTV.

For DIRECTV, the move to keep NFL Sunday Ticket for Bars, Restaurants, Hotels and other commercial venues is a continuation of its commitment to carrying sports for businesses that are otherwise only available via streaming. They have previously struck deals with Amazon (Thursday Night Football) and Apple (Friday Night Baseball and MLS Season Pass) to air their respective streaming-exclusive games via satellite for DIRECTV commercial customers.
