DIRECTV Hotel, Hospital and Assisted Living customers now have more sports programming options with ROOT SPORTS Southwest and Longhorn Network! Here is an overview of the two new channels and the regional sports they carry.
ROOT SPORTS Southwest (channel 674)
ROOT SPORTS Southwest covers Major League Baseball, NBA Basketball, and more including the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, college football and basketball, and regionally relevant high school football.
The network delivers more than 250 live events each year – all available in HD.
Longhorn Network (channel 677)
The Longhorn Network covers the University of Texas sports teams, with 175 exclusive events a year from all 20 University of Texas sports, along with hundreds of hours of original studio content, weekly coaches shows, live press conferences, pre- and post-game analysis with Texas GameDay, All-Access behind the scenes, and more.
