TV for Assisted Living, Senior Living, and Healthcare
Pro:Idiom TVs and Set Top Boxes Are No Longer Required
GREAT NEWS! Pro:Idiom TVs and Set Top Boxes No Longer Required for Your Assisted Living, Senior Living, or Healthcare Community!
Your assisted living or senior care property no longer has to buy expensive Pro:Idiom TVs or use Set Top Boxes in each room to have Digital HD TV delivered to your residents and patients. New technology now allows you to utilize a head-end based solution delivering HD content directly to TVs. That means there is no receiver needed and jut one remote control!
This new service uses existing COM2000/COM3000 head-end technology with the MPEG-4 audio visual digital tuner already built-in to the TV/display device, bypassing any need for a Pro:Idiom enabled TV or a receiver box. This means you and your residents just use their TV as normal while still getting super-sharp HD programming.
There are some limitations.
- Currently, some premium content providers still require a specialty Pro:Idiom enabled TV or a set top receiver in order to view their content. If you are not providing your residents with premium movies and other original content from these providers, then you will love the savings.
- You must have newer Mpeg-4 TVs to provide HD signal to the TVs without added equipment at the headend. If you are still using older Mpeg-2 TVs, it will require a transcoder that can step down the signal from HD to standard definition. We can also assist you in getting newer TVs at great prices.
This NEW TV system provides your Assisted Living, Senior Living, or Healthcare Community with a lower cost installation and now Pro:Idiom TVs and Set Top Boxes are No Longer Required!
