NEW 48 channel COM2000 Pro:Idiom Headend vs 24 Channel Analog Headend

Analog > Digital > High Definition

For many hotels, the transition from Analog to full digital or HD TV distribution is just not possible. The cost of installing HD TVs is beyond your current budget, hotel renovations are proceeding in stages, or the infrastructure will not support it. What you need is a way to convert the HD signal to a SD signal that you can then push out to your remaining SD TVs.

Now there is a solution, the COM2000 with analog output

COM2000 from Technicolor - Its All About Satellites TV for Hotels - DIRECTV Hospitality Solutions - DIRECTV for Hotels - Hotel Television Systems

The COM2000 headend now has the ability to support SD analog content simultaneously with Pro:Idiom™ encrypted HD without the need for additional set-top boxes.

Technicolor’s NTSC-8 is a low cost alternative to stacked receiver based SMATV systems by adding analog channel output to the COM2000. The solution is perfect for mixed HD/SD properties, installations requiring a fitness center solution, or as a direct replacement for analog only properties.

The simple and easy to use COM2000 configuration interface is extended to setup the analog component. New analog output features include independent adjustments for RF output level, Audio Level and Sharpness to best format video output for each individual deployment.
